CDCM and other power distribution charges

The Common Distribution Charging Methodology (CDCM)

The acronym CDCM stands for Common Distribution Charging Methodology.

It refers to a set of calculation rules published as part of the DCUSA and approved by Ofgem.

The major power distribution companies in England, Wales and Scotland have used these rules since 1 April 2010 as the basis for most of their distribution use of system charges.

Other sources of distribution charges are the EDCM and the CCCM.
